The challenge

Decades of lectures by Professor Ahmad Rafique Akhtar, a widely followed scholar and author, were spread across channels and uploads, with no series order, no dependable archive and no sustainable way to fund it. Alamaat Media needed a paid service that protects the content, organises it for serious listeners and runs without an engineering team of its own.

What we built

AlamaatTV is a project of FQEFlix in collaboration with Alamaat Media. It runs as a dedicated, branded service on the FQEFlix streaming platform, which provides subscriptions and access control, video processing and worldwide delivery, the catalogue and progress tracking. alamaattv.com is its fast public storefront. Alamaat Media publishes the content; the platform does the rest.

How it works

  • One streaming platform, many branded services: AlamaatTV has its own brand, domain, catalogue and pricing on shared FQEFlix infrastructure
  • Paid access: subscriptions and entitlements decide who can watch which series
  • A video pipeline that transcodes every lecture and delivers it worldwide through a content delivery network
  • The lifetime archive organised into series, topics and lessons, with search, the latest lectures and progress tracking
  • A static storefront at alamaattv.com on AWS, fast to load and inexpensive to run, with light and dark themes
  • Updates, security and monitoring handled once, centrally, for every service on the platform
